West Lincoln has nineteen different sports including American football, baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, softball, wrestling, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s soccer and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country and volleyball. All of these, with the exception of tennis, track, soccer and golf, have junior varsity and varsity teams.

The most notable sport at West Lincoln is the wrestling team. In the 2000 season, West Lincoln won the 2-A Dual Team State Championship posting a 31-1 overall record. The wrestling team was also Individual State Tournament runner-up in 2005. It has also won the conference championship every year but once since Butch Ross took over in the 1996-1997 season. In the month of February 2015, the West Lincoln wrestlers traveled to Croatan High School to win another 2-A Dual Team State Championship title.
